The Nairobi Express Way is expected to significantly decongest Mombasa Road and reduce travel time between Mlolongo and Westlands to an average of 15 minutes. The 8-lane elevated dual carriageway, which is among the various infrastructure development projects being undertaken by President Uhuru Kenyatta's Administration, created over 6,000 direct jobs, benefitted 200 sub-contractors and hundreds of other local suppliers of building materials such as steel, sand, cement and ballast. #Big4Agenda |

In Kenya, the Nairobi Expressway has marked a special milestone since it launched more than a year ago. Over 20 million vehicles have now used the toll road, which connects the city's primary airport to the downtown area. It was built in partnership with the Chinese government, within the framework of Belt and Road Initiative.
