Alcohol ink on Polymer Clay! I hadn’t tried ink on black polymer clay before- so thought I’d give it a go! My number one lesson learnt is that you need to add quite a bit of white to make the colours pop! This turned out a little darker than I would have liked- so I added the white Posca dots (yes I added them whilst the clay was raw) I resined the tops (using Eparency Top Coat) and I’m now loving how they turned out! . Playing with alcohol inks on baked clay! These beauties will be made into earrings once the varnish is dry. I used the new Pinata Varnish as it is specifically formulated to not re-activate the alcohol ink! I always get lots of questions about using the inks- so here’s what I did to make this pair- - I pre-baked my polymer clay - applied a layer of liquid clay - added alcohol ink - re-baked for 15-20mins to cure liquid clay - varnish with Pinata high Gloss Varnish I’ll be sharing some other alco
