19-year-old LSU freshman from Red Oak killed in Louisiana crash while driving home for break
A 19-year-old Texas woman was killed Friday afternoon after her car rear-ended a commercial vehicle on a Louisiana highway, state police said.
Courtney Hodge had just finished her freshman year at LSU after graduating from Red Oak High School in 2025.
A 19-year-old Ellis County native who had just finished her first year at LSU died in a two-vehicle crash, officials said.
