The DC Universe's Supergirl movie is changing Krypto's role from the DC Comic it's based on, and that looks like a smart decision.
Directed by Craig Gillespie with a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, Supergirl is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed 2022 comic Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow from writer Tom King and artist Bilquis Evely. And just like in that comic, the inciting incident that kicks off this story is going to be extremely heartbreaking to watch.
